The Golden Legion is a community focused free company; we aim to cultivate friendships, strong bonds and memories while playing FFXIV. Our goal is to create a space where our members feel safe, enjoy themselves, and have the opportunity to connect with each other. Events
From savage statics to ocean fishing achievement groups, we organize weekly scheduled, impromptu and seasonal events to help members gain new experiences and engage with their community.
Savage Statics
The Golden Legion has several savage static teams that meets weekly. If you are interested in joining one of our statics, feel free to reach out to Onyxia Rose or Waria Brandford in game. See the button above for more info on our static teams.
PvP Tournaments
Ever wanted to pit your pvp skills against your fellow fc members? Regular pvp tournaments let players test their mettle, with big prizes up for grabs, for the winner and runners up!
Extreme Trials
A weekly event to help members learn extreme trial mechanics in a fun environment.
Unreal Tells/Re-tells
A step up from extreme's; we schedule weekly runs of unreal trials to help members progress through this content together.
Mount Farming
Weekly scheduled runs to help community members get snazzy new mounts!
Deep Dungeons
Held weekly, this event helps players find groups for, and learn about deep dungeons.
Eureka & Bozja
Events are held weekly to help groups of players progress through these instances.
Maps
Reoccurring twice weekly for anyone to partake in! Minimum level for participation will be dictated by map level; but just bring yourself and get ready to have a good time!
Ocean Fishing
FC ocean fishing runs are held often to help community members get specific achievements!
Impromptu Events
Anything from hide and seek, guess the tune, jumping puzzles, races, emote simon says and more; sometimes our officers will organize informal events to spice things up - they are of course full of prizes and giveaways!
Holiday & Seasonal Events
Be it christmas, valentine's or halloween The Golden Legion will be hosting a ball or bonanza to celebrate. Activities include costume contests, mini games, scavenger hunts, live music, and of course lots of prizes and giveaways.

Our community management teams are full of talented and enthusiastic people; the responsibilities of each vary, but they come together, working in parallel, to ensure the smooth operation of our free company. From resource management, event coordination and organizing content groups; these are the people working hard to make our community a phenomenal environment. We have a suggestions channel in our discord server, if there is an event or activity that you’re interested in that we’re not already hosting feel free to let us know!• Always be respectful!
We pride ourselves on our inclusive community, LGBTQIA2+ friendly, we take the comfort of our members very seriously and have a zero tolerance policy on disrespect, bigotry, discrimination, bullying, toxicity or harmful trolling of any kind.• Protect yourself!
While we make efforts to vet our members and ensure everyone conducts themselves with the values we uphold at Gold, we would like to remind our members that the internet can be a dangerous place. We discourage the exchange of irl money, personal or account information, or goods and services between members. We also ask that our community members do not solicit information, money or items from others.• Never hesitate to reach out!

The battle team is responsible for managing higher end content engagement. They maintain our static teams, and help community members create and manage more casual groups for extremes, unreal and savage trials, and criterion dungeons. Working with the content team, they oversee exploration groups to both eureka and bozja, helping new and experienced players with relics and progression. Our battle team offers guidance to players new to end game content, if you have any questions about statics, extreme, savage or unreal content or criterion, they can be directed to towards this team!

Our content team oversees our reoccurring scheduled events, ensuring that our members have a variety of activates each week to enjoy; including but not limited to mount and glam farms, unreal tells and re-tells, eureka and bozja expeditions, as well as maps and ocean fishing achievement runs for anyone to attend! Our engagement team is at the helm of community cultivation; they lead scheduled, impromptu, small and informal, as well as large scale free company events and group activities. This team also focuses on fc recruitment and member retention. We believe every member of The Golden Legion is important and this team works hard to involve everyone in our community. The resources team handles fc crafting requests and manages the fc workshop projects, including airship and sub deployment. They are responsible for the acquisition of materials from gathering, as well as material management; supplying mats for other fc teams and fc events. Our resource team offers guidance to members on their crafting and gathering journeys, any questions you have about crafting can be directed towards this team!

The big cheeses, the top dogs, the head honchos of our free company. They set our course and are the final word on decisions that affect our fc as a whole. They work hard on the continued growth and improvement of our community.
The Golden Legatus
Our Golden Legatus head our company teams; Battle, Content, Engagement and Resources, and are responsible for overseeing and managing our community. They keep our day to day running smoothly! To learn more about our company teams see our community tab above!
Onyx Conquerors
The Onyx Conquerors directly support the Golden Legatus within our company teams, but are also responsible for general community administration; such as discord server management, fc fund acquisition, web development and social media management.
Silver Centurions
Silver Centurions support both our Golden Legatus and Onyx Conquerors, populating and helping with our company management teams. Silver Centurions are members who have shown interest, enthusiasm and a willingness to help cultivate our community!
Iron Legionnaires
The beloved general members of our free company; at Gold we believe every member of our community is important, we want everyone to feel included. All of our members are kind, welcoming and accepting, often helping newer Iron Legionnaires find their place with us.
